I received my first amateur license in 1967 as WB4IOA. Upon moving to Pennsylvania, I changed that to W3IOA, and then about a year later to W3AF when I upgraded to Extra.

I presently live with my wife in Mountain Top, PA, the very western edge of the Pocono Mountains, about 160km west of New York City.

I am a computer database consultant professionally, and I'm also a licensed private pilot (Commercial/Instruments/SMEL).

I operate on HF with an ICOM 756 Pro. This is feeding into a Force 12 C3SS on a 50' Glen Martin Tower with a hazer.

I also switch to either a GAP Challenger Vertical or a B&W folded dipole as conditions dictate.

Most of my hamming time is spent either on 17 Meters or on PSK31 on almost any band. I hunt just enough DX that you may find me anywhere (hihi).

I have both an ICOM-271H and an ICOM-471A for VHF/UHF in the shack, with the antennas for those above the Force 12 In the car I run a YAESU FT100D with an ATAS-100 screwdriver that is really fantastic!! Of course, the usual collection of HT's, mostly from Kenwood.

Please QSL either direct, via the bureau or Logbook Of The World. All my logs are updated to LoTW about once a month. I rarely participate in eQSL.
